Super easy setup. Works great

Setup was quick and easy. Basically everything you need is provided, and it probably only took me about 10 minutes to get it put together. The most difficult part of the setup for me was fine tuning the weight to hold the monitor without it dipping, but that super simple too.

I also purchased a tall double arm mount, and I will say that I really liked the build quality of this single arm mount, over the tall double arm mount. Not to say that other was bad, but this one felt more premium. On top of that, the cable management for this single arm mount felt much easier to work with in comparison to the other one.

This made my work space at home a whole lot more comfortable. Arrived quickly and mounts to my beveled edge counter top.

Used with 40" Vizio TV - easy to position - holds well

I had to purchase 100mm to 200mm adapter plate for it to work with the Vizio V405-H9's 200mm VESA mounting holes. I was worried the extra weight of the plate would be an issue but I was able to set the gas assist knob so the TV is easy to position and then holds. The unit is well constructed and has been easy to extend. The TV is very light so please don't think this will hold larger TV's. It's really intended for monitors but it shows how robust it is that it works well with a 2020 LED TV.

Tilt might not work for you

I'm using this stand with a 19lb monitor, just under the 20lb limit for this arm. The gas arm can handle it no problem, but the screw and clamp that it pivots on for up/down tilting is nowhere near strong enough.When I first put the monitor on it, the weight of my monitor made my monitor tilt all the way down, facing the floor. I had to crank the tilt screw as tight as I could for the monitor to not naturally return to this face down position, almost stripping the screw because of how tight I had to crank it. Now its locked at its current tilt.So, if you have a monitor that is close to 20lbs, expect some trouble with the tilt, and expect to lock it in place, thats the only solution I could find. Other than that, I have no complaints.
