Genius Idea - Looks Great

After fighting to find a good spot on the wall to mount my sound bar, I ended up hating how it looked.... Very clunky and awkward. I then decided I'd build and mount a shelf to put the sound bar on so that it wouldn't look so silly. Then I found these speaker mounts... incredible. Whoever came up with this is a genius. It took a while to get it all figured out and lined up correctly (had to place the TV face-down on the floor to do so) but I absolutely love how it looks. Really really clean and no more holes in the wall

Works, but is a challenge to install on a large TV

So to start things off, they want you to try and lay a TV flat on its face, which is not recommended. Not to mention, try doing that with a 70+ inch TV. I opted for measuring 100 times while the TV was sitting in the box and got lucky with the placement. I. mounted the mount to the TV and then hung the TV from the wall. My wall mount was not an adjustable one, so I chose to leave enough room between the wall and the TV to barely get my hand behind it to plug things in if needed. This left me just enough room to mount the soundbar to this mount. Because where this mounts, I wouldn't call it sturdy if you touch the sound bar, you see the whole thing shake, but again you really shouldn't be touching things on a normal basis and so shouldn't notice the instability too much. The mount serves its purpose for the money, but be ready for a lengthy project if you want to do it right and not scratch up your TV by laying it face down on something. It might take some trial and error to mount and unmount the TV from your mount to get the perfect fit.
